Goulding's Lodge

Really enjoyed staying here. The lodge had beautiful views of Monument Valley and the sunsets from the property were stunning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place had convenient amenities like a pool, microwave, and a gift shop, and there was a gas station nearby which was helpful given how remote the area is. I also really appreciated the restaurant on site since there are not many dining options around. The small museum was a great addition too and had a lot of interesting history about how the place was built.

The location is perfect to spend time in Monument Valley. Convenience store and gas station on site + a pool. Food at the restaurant was really good and not too expensive. The view in the morning from the cabins are breathtaking. Make sure to wake up early so you won't miss the sunrise !

Loved staying here! The rooms were very nice, beds were comfortable, and even had a fridge in the room. The whole area is like a mini town, and there are several historical things things to see. The food was fantastic, and reasonably priced. All the staff is friendly and available to help with anything. And above all, the views were amazing from the patio! I wish I had known they have an indoor pool too, which looked very fun. *There are several wild dogs that roam the area, so I probably wouldn't bring my own dog with.

In Short: Great prices on lodging and food with awesome views The room was comfortable and clean. The food was plentiful and tasty. Both were at very reasonable prices. The scenic views make it a great choice for a relaxing stay. Given they also have and RV park, other services like gas, groceries and laundry are also conveniently available.

Goulding’s lodge is phenomenal. OK the rooms are small and a little dated but perfectly adequate. You don’t go to this area to stay inside a hotel room. The view from the balcony of the room is world class. Breathtaking. I think it’s better than the View Hotel because you get a wide angle of Monument Valley. ||The place is a town really. Wonderful restaurant with very reasonably priced (and huge) meals. Amazing museum and gift shop. The views of the cliffs behind the motel are amazing. There’s also a gas station, supermarket, coffee shop, car wash, and laundromat next door. ||The Navajo staff are wonderfully friendly. Such beautiful people.
