Good Old Days Resort

Service here was okay, at best, but the advise was way off. We ordered two burgers, and were going to order the large basket of fries to go with them. But, Cathy, our server at the bar, told us that the "regular" order of fries split between us would be more than enough. It wasn't. By far. I'm a big guy, and I certainly like fries with my burgers. That's what I was trying to order. But, as you can see, there was a pitiful amount of fries on each plate. And, my companion, a known light eater, finished all but 3 of her smaller fries. Which she passed to me because she could see this pile of fries was pretty pitiful. This is after our plates were walked out, all the way across the restaurant and bar, only to be walked all the way back to the kitchen, and kept for some few minutes. Probably as

We were in town camping and stopped in at eat on a Saturday around 4:30pm. Everyone was friendly. It seems like they are known for their prime rib, I wish we would have tried that. Our food was fine, nothing fancy, we got what we paid for.

What a great place to have some drinks and get some good food!! I've been coming to this place forever and I never miss a chance to visit. I highly recommend trying this place and don't understand those other reviews that say they have issues with this place

The food was really bad! Fries were super cheap frozen not cooked enough and in old or gross oil. Ham is awful on grilled cheese and ham. Margarine was used o n bread, not butter. Bar seriously overserves and people act sloppy drunk like its a frat house at 745pm on a Wed.

Generally had good experience with the food. Service is almost always great! Beautiful waterfront views
