Goldenwoods Condo

The beds are very comfortable. The condo had 2 nice balconies with an amazing view of the mountains. I gave it 3 stars because it is old and outdated. But I would definitely stay there again.

Old school furniture, smaller size bed,I'm 6'2 and my feet at the edge of the bed. A little tight for a family of 4. No snow for Christmas...

Summer is not the time to visit here. Even at this elevation, with Unit 2A you've got direct sun for nearly all daylight hours, and the heat is oppressive. The staff provided us with a 3rd small fan, but even with all three going, there was no way you could keep the unit cool. It might be nice if they added ceiling fans. The washer & dryer seems like a nice thing until you realize that the dryer is vented directly back into your unit...adding to the summer heat. The Grand Mesa location can't make up for the lack of sleep (due to heat, worn out flat pillows and an old bed). The great staff can't make up for the outdated unit with terribly uncomfortable couch and chair in the living room, and a tiny TV. Folks, if you LOVE to check yourself out, 2A is where you want to be. I haven't ever seen

A bit dated, no frills place. Best features - right on Powderhorn Ski Resort and amazing views. We had a huge 3 bedroom/3 bath unit, while a bit older, they did some updates and everything is clean. Full kitchen was great since there isn't anything close for dining (aside from ski resort grill), and laundry in unit is very useful. Location is great, right off Grand Mesa NF, short drive to Vega SP, Grand Junction etc.

Spacious clean condos steps away from Powderhorn Ski Resort. They are a little dated, but a nice space to hang out in. The fireplace and balconies are great.
