Gogebic Lodge

We stopped here for dinner while on snowmobile. There was only one bartender who was serving the bar and all the tables and one cook. So service was slow even though they were doing their best. We settled for pizza to make it easy on the cook. The pizza was fine nothing special.

Keep an eye on your snowmobile gear, had a $130 pair of gloves get stolen from my helmet that was behind me when we stopped in for dinner, the bartender was rude and refused to check the cameras, they conveniently didnt work and was told to stop back monday which was 3 days later (not even going to be here monday) they were not willing to help in any way, we were over 100 miles away from our hotel

I honestly can't say enough good things about this resort! Coming from the city and looking to get away and relax we hit the jackpot with this place! The cabins are immaculate, spacious, comfortable, cozy, and dry. The grounds are well kept and offer great views of the lake. The owners are incredibly welcoming and fun and truly care about your experience and we even found the other guests to be just as friendly. We stayed a week and didn't want to leave! If you are looking to stay on the lake for any reason at any time, Gogebic Lodge is the place to stay!

Main building only... Musty old smell smacks you in the face when you walk in. Cosmetic things that could be easily retified. Decent view of the lake from the bar. The bloody mary was ok. Water 💧 dripping from a light fixture in the ladies room making a huge mess, I assertained that it was not abnormal. It was an adventure probably wouldn't return to the bar

Maybe 15 people in the whole place. Service was non existent. Third pound burger was as thick as a toothpick and burnt. Bartender was as nice as a cat in a bucket of water. Only getting 2 stars because the lights worked and it was warm inside
