Goethe Trailhead Ranch RV Campground

Beautiful sunset over Goethe Trailhead RV Campground on our last night. This is our 3rd year spending February here away from the snow and cold. Amazing views, quiet, clean, and close to many adventures. Love seeing the horses and hearing the cows. Recommend a stay here if you love big lots, and quiet nature .

Our horse group got together for a camping trip and chose Goethe and we are real glad we did. The campsites are large with plenty of space. The campground and facilities are very clean. I loved the large stalls for our horses and the turnout areas. The campsites did not have picnic tables or fire rings, so come prepared. Amber ray who runs the campground is so accommodating and helpful, really appreciated her! Miss Dee who just opened the onsite store is one of the friendliest persons I have ever met! The new store will be such an asset offering ice, shavings and other items needed in a pinch. We will definitely be back since we have many more trails to explore out that way...

My husband and I travel for work and are always looking for the next place to call “home”. We were fortunate to find this gem! The location was great and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. We were lucky enough to camp with a beautiful view of the farm behind us. Our two dogs loved the dog park and I always felt safe walking with my baby. Amber Ray has always been so friendly and accommodating to us! She has made our time here very enjoyable. We would highly recommend this campground to anyone who is just passing through or staying for a while.

Goethe Trailhead Ranch RV Camp is the most beautiful place to be!! Amberay is lovely to work with, quite clearly loves her property and being able to share it, and makes staying here a wonderful experience. We are incredibly happy here - highly recommend this scenic destination!

We recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Goethe Trailhead Ranch RV Campground, and we must say, it was far from what we expected. First and foremost, the bathrooms were downright filthy and frequently out of toilet paper. It was clear that they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time, with dirt and grime accumulating in every corner. It is frustrating to think that such a basic necessity could be so neglected, especially for a campground that aims to attract visitors. Additionally, the overgrown vegetation was another major issue. The lack of lawn maintenance during the entire month we were there made the campground feel unkempt and uninviting.
