GloWood Campground

We’ve been rv camping here at Glowood for the last 7 years. This year, 2025, the place has new owners. They have been friendly and very cooperative in accommodating us. The new owners are making a strong effort at improving, cleaning up, and updating this worn out place. Most importantly we now have clean clear running water. The roads have been graded.. the grass is cut.. and the trash has been hauled away. I can’t wait to see what other improvements they develop.

Stayed at this beautiful location for two months in our RV as we are full-time. It was peaceful and the staff is very easy to communicate with and friendly. I hope you give this campground a visit and enjoy it as much as we did.

Its good for what you pay. Full hookups can't be beat. Pretty much anything goes here. There are no quiet hours, but thats ok for a concert weekend. The bathhouse could use some improvements. Mainly if they got the second shower functional. The whole area could use a good cleaning, but for 40$ a night. Cash or check. Its good. Solid electric and water. I'd stay here again. Beth and her husband are nice people. Also, no requirements to stay the whole weekend during concert events is nice. They dont have what Mystic waters has, but they have a lot more than the other campgrounds in the area. Hookups and a cheap rate will bring me back!

Pros: water hook up, 30 amp electrical, cheep, quiet, and the gentleman who showed us to our spot was a very kind man. Cons: the bathhouse isn't for someone expecting 5 stars, but it works better than a tree stump and a pine branch. You can also hear the interstate when your outside your RV. Overall: I would stay here again in an instant, the price and Mitch the were great. Plus we had a ton of room to ourselves.. more than I've had at any other campground ever.. and we all know how the $48 a night camp grounds pack them in.. Make sure to get site 53...

Overall, this Campground rips people off. As a Traveling worker I despise places like this. I gave this Campground, a $200 deposit with the intent of Renting a site for a month from them. I was supposed to move onto site in approximately a week and a half and had to cancel as I found another campground that was closer to my job site. They had my deposit approximately two days to which they were supposedly receiving a huge amount of phone calls regarding the open site Turning people down left and right. When I asked for my deposit bank, they wanted to tell me it was nonrefundable because they are losing out on money by me canceling. I would be more understanding if they had the site open but the owner it was booked all the way until I was going to move onto site. I was never told my deposit
