Glenstone Lodge

Love supporting local business thats not a chain. Loved my room but was told it had a keurig and fireplace, it did not. Advertised a hot tub in pool area. I assumed it had jets, it didnt, just a hot tub. Nice hotel and kept up well for its age. Would have liked more open hours for coffee shop and restaurant. Very friendly staff. Didnt charge for parking either!

Positive: Fun for kids, in room fridge and microwave, pool, comfortable beds. Negative: It was clearly an older hotel that had been touched up a number of times. Overall, clean and comfortable, but some places with clear love needed.

We had a great stay at Glenstone Lodge. We had a problem in our room relatively early in the evening, and a manager along with a maintenance man came right away to help. Their radios kept going off with other calls, but they stayed on task and made sure our issue was handled properly. The younger of the two seemed eager to learn and was really paying attention to what the manager was showing him, gave us some light hearted entertainment. Team work makes the dream work as they say. The lobby is beautiful and something to behold when you walk in. The property has a lot of potential, and the staff has really made our stay a positive one. There is a pizza joint right in the hotel, a little expensive, but good. We would definitely stay again!

The atmosphere of the whole hotel was wonderful and welcoming. As soon as we walked through the lobby door, we knew we had made a good choice in coming here. The place was clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back.

Becky was very friendly and knowledgeable when we checked in. John at the front desk was amazing. We had an issue with our room and he was able to help us out. Thank you! The only complaint I have is the breakfast buffet, it is over priced. It is food that you can get at a hotel that is complimentary. Otherwise, we had a fantastic trip! We always love coming to Gatlinburg.
