Glenns Lake Campground

This might be the most beautiful lake I've ever stayed at (so far). There is easy access to the lake from all the campsites. The lake itself wasn't deep when I was there so it was easy to walk in and I even found a marble (don't litter people). The shore was rocky so it was easy to filter water. I backpacked into the campsite from the south, a mostly flat trail but there are many ways to reach the campsite. Each campsite has plenty of space (and even some berries to eat at the right time of year). The sites are far enough away from each other that I didn't hear any other campers. The food prep area has tons of seating and multiple stumps for food prep.

My wife and I hiked here from Gable Creek Campground. It is an easy hike. The views here are beautiful. We saw many birds here including waxwings and woodpeckers. The toilet here is a standard outhouse style. The hike here included a large swinging bridge!

We arrived late afternoon August 5, 2016. The view couldn't have been anymore beautiful! Just unbelievable, I didn't want to leave! There was a resident mule deer at the camp sight and she loved to lick everything she could get ahold of.

Plenty of space on the beach of the lake. For the best view, head to the Eastern shore of the lake where Glenns Lake begins to empty towards Cosley.
