Glades Motel

I stayed at this motel for two nights. The property is a bit small, but sufficient for a short stay. The terrace is quite uncomfortable, so not very usable. The bathroom is small but clean, and it comes with basic amenities such as shower products, soap, and towels. Overall, cleanliness was good. The check-in and reception were efficient, very much in line with the typical motel style: simple and straightforward. The motel is located on the main road, close to downtown Naples, although a car is necessary to reach the main attractions and areas of interest. Positive points include: • working air conditioning • openable windows with mosquito screens • a large and convenient parking area Overall, this is a simple and functional motel, suitable for a few nights without high expectations. The place served its purpose. Was clean and quiet. Shower bathroom was decent and clean. Had refridge and microwave. Quiet. Quoted $149 not bad for area but had 12% cleaning surcharge plus 12% service charge when checking in. Doesn’t seem they take reservations. About 2.5 miles to 5Th Ave. restaurants in walking distance p,us convent store. It is what it is. A little old and not much eye appeal, but has what you need if your a motel stayer.

We are traveling to the Everglade National Park. Stopped in Naples at the Glade motel. It is just like the pictures. Very clean small hotel room with nice refrigerator. Very nice shower with good towels, the shower is narrow but very nice. This was a perfect stop for us, bed Very comfortable and TV good for Monday night football. We would stay here again especially taking US 41 to National Park. I had a good night sleep just what we needed.

A cute little throwback to the 1950's. It's been remodeled, of course, but it reminded me of all the mom and pop motels I stayed at as a child when I traveled with my parents. It was clean and conveniently located on the old Tamiami Trail in Naples. The owner was sweet and charming and really cared about her guests. It is now 3 years later and I can't say many positive things about this motel. The owner is still friendly, but quality has declined. I stayed 6 nights. My room was not cleaned at all one day and the other 5 days the bed was only half made. The microwave and fridge were so rusted I was afraid to use them. The towels and sheets were so old they were full of holes. Sadly, I would recommend that folks stay away.

Although the motel was fine for our purposes, we were quoted one price on the phone, and when I asked to pay- she told me they don't take reservations/payments. Upon arrival I gave my name and I received the room. It was small but adequate. We appreciated the small refrigerator. The shower window and vanity had mold and when we told the owner he said he would take care of it. The next day I looked at the receipt and noticed we were charged quite a bit more than what she quoted me. She said it was because a queen room wasn't available when we checked in and that is what she quoted. I tried to communicate that we called with a reservation, but she said because we didn't pay, they didn't hold that room. What did I miss here?? She wouldn't take my money/reservation but because she wouldn't she
