Glade Creek Campground

Love the location! Bathrooms on site and views right along the river with a hiking trail super close by. I also liked the picnic tables already in place to gather or even set up a cooking station. Just wish there wasn’t a rail road super close to both sides of the river. But id come back to for sure!

The campground is beautiful. Fantastic views of the river from the beach area. Each campsite is nice and includes a fire ring, grill, and a picnic table. Plenty of trees to hang a hammock (like we did) and flat spots for tents. The drive in spaces are great with more privacy than the walk in spaces. The bathrooms were well maintained. You can hear the river from the entire campground. 4☆ because of all the trains in the night, definitely not good for light sleepers, it was a lot of noise and because this campground seems to be very popular. The first night were were there it was packed. Loved that Glade Creek Trail is close by (although the creek was super high and didn't look safe for swimming while we were there).

Amazing lovely place. rich with abundantly quiet nature. Right next to the river, also to the wonderful falls trail. Loved the camp ground! Big large established sites, free camping, first come first serve. (Walk-in camping also. And they have proper facilities that meet Accessibility needs! Including parking, bathrooms and camp site. Simply lovely.
