Glacier Gateway Plaza

Was a bit nervous by the reviews but this place was perfect. Yes it's a bit dated and seems it's switched ownership a few times but overall the owners seem to care and have everything you need for a good night's rest. The lobby is welcoming, the beds comfortable, and the shower nice and hot. Room had a fridge and microwave, I loved the touch of the fridge being raised off the floor, my back much appreciated it. No coffee maker but there's a lovely coffee drive through down the street that is perfect and the gas station is just a walk away so honestly I didn't need one. I hope they keep the rooms with real keys cause I loved the homey touch that gave, also the doors to the room look like a house front door which I loved. I would definitely stay again.

You're making a mistake if you pass it up. I'm long distance bicycle touring. I entered town from the west. I saw the chain hotel, grocery store was close to resupply, inquired with a customer at a convenience store, she said some locally owned independent ones were on east side also. I read reviews and cked out the Glacier Gateway Plaza, "under new management. Helped a cyclist.". Bingo. At ck in the owner offered to shuttle me for groceries and was critical to my getting my bicycle on at Cut Bank and unmanned, whistle stop, station. I had a passenger ticket but no bike pass. He facilitated making it happen. Without his help I'd been up .... creek w/o a paddle. He, conductors and Amtrak made it happen. Adventure in an adventure. Not the worst hotel I have stayed at, but it's close. Nobody at the front desk. They were at the inn across the road. The breakfast that is available is available at the Super 8 across town. They told us the Super 8 doesn't check if you are staying there or not so thats where the breakfast is. Dirty. Everything is dirty. Sheet had a large unknown stain. The bathroom floor was sticky with large chunks of something. A towel was shoved behind the toilet, I'm assuming it was leaking. The shower took about 15 minutes for hot water to arrive. When it did the pressure was such that you had to hug the wall to get wet. And when I switched from the tap to the shower head, I pulled the tap off the wall because it wasn't attached. There were 3 lamps. None worked as theybwerent plugged in and had

I’m leaving this review at a time when this hotel is transitioning to new ownership. The price of our room had changed from when we booked it because of this, but is understandable. The owner helped us during check in and was very friendly and eager to help us. Everything here worked as it should. There was some mold on the shower curtain, but otherwise the room appeared clean. I had to give the room a 3 because the peephole had a tissue stuffed in it which was odd, and the rooms are outdated. They offer breakfast, but it’s more of a grab and go breakfast, including cereal. The location of the hotel was nice! It’s on the main strip of Cut Bank and offered us a nice place to stay outside of Glacier park for a cheaper rate.

Had nothing but trouble with this property from the very start. Had stayed here the year previous and had no issues so decided to book again based on the price quoted online. The price was not honoured upon check in, and was told there was an “error” in the system. The “error” was theirs and they wouldn’t even cut a little break for the run around, but was too late to change. Secondly, we were told we were now staying on the opposite side of the hotel because the east wing had a “plumbing back-up”. We were told that he had to go around and place towels around all the toilets in the hotel just in case, including the one in our room. We got to our room and it was not the 2 Queen beds that we had booked and we were told that they were all out of rooms with 2 Queen beds, so we were stuck with
