Dictator like private park. Ginnie Springs — beautiful nature overshadowed by poor management The location itself is undeniably beautiful. Florida’s springs and cave systems are truly impressive. It is also important to note that the caves themselves are public natural resources and do not belong to Ginnie Springs as a private entity. The park is privately owned, large, and generally well maintained. However, the overall experience is seriously undermined by the behavior of the staff and the excessive, often unreasonable rules. The atmosphere feels controlling rather than welcoming. Staff members frequently point fingers, issue orders, and communicate in a harsh, authoritarian manner. Many rules appear illogical and unnecessary. For example, RVs are not allowed to park near the springs d

We just stayed at Ginnie Springs this past weekend, and unfortunately it was by far our worst camping experience.|We were looking for a quiet, family-friendly getaway after Thanksgiving. Instead, it was loud, stressful, and the staff was not particularly helpful. When our car battery died, we asked staff for help jump-starting our vehicle. We were told their jump starter wasn’t charged, and although it would take 30–60 minutes to charge, they still declined to assist. We would have gladly waited, but it was clear they didn’t want to be inconvenienced. Thankfully, a neighbor helped us jump the car, and I ended up driving to Harbor Freight to buy my own charging station.|The worst part of our stay, however, was the complete lack of control over noise and campground behavior. We had two very

An amazing place to connect with nature The spring water is incredibly clear, perfect for swimming, floating, and cooling off. The entire area is beautiful and well maintained. Great for spending the day with family or friends, grilling, camping, and enjoying the outdoors. The location is unique and the atmosphere feels peaceful and natural. Definitely an experience worth repeating.

Unfortunately can’t put zero stars. Ever since the owner passed this place has gone completely downhill. Family friends had been going for 20 years and said never again after this year. We got told to turn our music down one time (@630pm) and we did! No problem at all. Quiet time comes around they check to make sure our generator is the quiet one (it is) no problem at all. At about 1am we take a little walk next to our camp site (literally 20 feet from it) and our friend has soft music playing on his cell phone. Camp guy on his little golf cart races to us and is like “THATS IS IM KICKING YOU GUYS OUT, IF YOU WANNA LISTEN TO MUSIC YOU NEED TO HAVE HEAD PHONES!!!” And told us we had 30 minutes to pack our stuff and leave … we told him that’s literally impossible and we had been drinking to

Ginnie Springs is honestly one of the most beautiful spots in Florida — the water is crystal clear, cold, and unbelievably blue. It feels like swimming in bottled spring water. The different spring areas all have their own vibe, whether you want to float, snorkel, explore, or just relax by the water. It’s definitely a popular spot, so expect crowds on weekends, but the beauty of the springs still makes the trip worth it. The water is refreshing (and freezing at first!), but once you’re in, it’s perfect. You can see fish, underwater rock formations, and the clarity is unreal. Great for GoPro photos too. The grounds are huge, with places to walk, grill, or hang out between swims. Camping is available, and a lot of people come for tubing down the river, which is super relaxing and one of th
