Gatlinburg Inn

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Gatlinburg Inn! If you are looking for a hotel with character and a perfect location, this is it. The Highlights: * Prime Location: This is easily the best part of the hotel. It’s situated right in the center of town, making it an easy walk to everything on the strip. We loved being able to leave the car behind and explore. * Cozy Atmosphere: While the rooms are a bit smaller and might lack some of the modern amenities found at major corporate hotels, they were incredibly cozy. The private balconies were a highlight for us—perfect for relaxing. * Service & Dining: The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Plus, the free breakfast was a great start to our mornings and much better than your average continental spread. Overall,

Positive: The lobby and dining area and gathering space as you come in is beautiful. Negative: The furniture is at least 30 years old. The carpet is pretty stained in the rooms. The best kept spaces are the entrance and sitting areas around the lobby. I just assumed it would be updated even though historic

Only complaint is the paper thin walls. You can hear your neighbor breathe. The beds are comfy and the rooms and halls are well maintained and very clean. Water was hot. There's no microwave or fridge in the room, but you have access to microwave in the lobby area. We loved the old aesthetic of the hotel. And the breakfast was great. The employees were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was worth the price paid for the atmosphere and location.

We had an absolute amazing stay this past week. The Inn has so much character and history. We loved the photos in the hall, seeing how the Inn hasn’t changed, but everything around it has. The staff, the rooms, the breakfast, the location…it was all amazing. Every time we passed an employee in the hall, they spoke to us. One employee (Amber) went out of her way and showed us around some of the other floors. She was so very knowledgeable and didn’t seemed bothered by our questions regarding some of the other rooms they offer. I just can’t say enough about this place, we LOVED it and will be back for future stays. I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else.

Rooms were quaint and typical for a historic hotel. Breakfast was delicious! Location was PERFECT! It was easy to access all of Gatlinburg. Our only complaint was that we had neighbors who SLAMMED the doors repeatedly around midnight. We were on the 1st floor just down from the desk, I would have thought someone from the front desk would have asked them to be more considerate. Maybe tell people when they check in about the door slams and remind them its an older hotel and has old doors!
