Garden City Inn

Great location and beach access. In my personal experience I felt some of the staff was sketchy even seen a few what seemed like watching me. Random characters just sitting outside of the hotel on the beach bench and with a 1st floor room it wasn’t comfortable. Beds were comfortable but the frame was like a hollow metal cabinet almost lol moved when we moved. Internet cut out ALOT! We had to keep reconnecting.Great place if you won’t be doing much sleeping. I will definitely search harder next time. Not my worst experience though.

I hesitate to write a review as I'd like to keep this hidden gem a secret! This was our 2nd stay here and we love it. We were here right after Christmas to relax and enjoy an ocean front room. There is no breakfast and we get a 1st floor room w/ stove and fridge. Our beds were very comfortable and the room is great! It is also very clean. Remember, this is an ocean front hotel so sand and dust are constant but the staff makes sure that everything is clean.||You could not find a staff more friendly and accommodating! If there is anything you need, the staff gets on it immediately! They are always smiling and speaking to guests.|The Inn has no elevators so if they are needed for your convenience, you must let the staff know! |The price is very reasonable for this time of year. ||I highly

such a good find, and it’s very clean and spacious for the price. Lunchbox at the front desk is awesome and honestly made the experience. beds are comfy, view is great. i’ll come back and see my girl lunchbox any chance i get!!

My mother and I took a beach trip together and Garden City Inn was recommended by some friends who have visited multiple times. We had a wonderful experience!! We watched every sunrise from our balcony. Visited Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park. Ate delicious seafood. We walked around the neighborhood behind the hotel and enjoyed so much wildlife. We walked on the beach at night and felt totally safe. | The staff were great. Collin and Stephanie (and the person manning the desk at night who shared their animal crackers).💙| Thank you to everyone there that helped make our trip so special!!
