Frontier Village

We loved our tiny house. Much better than a busy hotel. They had coffee and snacks for us. Slept great on the mattress and was comfortable the whole time. They sent us regular text updates when the Aurora was visible which was was awesome. This spot we actually saw the best lights of our trip from here. We paid for separate Aurora tours but this ended up being the best we saw them after we got a text that they were out. Definitely staying her next time we're back to see what Fairbanks is like in the summer!

We stayed in the Meandering Moose cabin for a week. We really enjoyed the little touches that the hosts provided - extra towels and linens, cleaning supplies for tidying up, and fresh eggs. We also appreciated the availability of coffee, sugar, condiments, some spices, marshmallows, bottled water, oatmeal packets, popcorn, apple cider packets, etc. Very thoughtful and nice, when you are away from home and want to make some homemade meals. ||The location is about a 15- minute drive to downtown Fairbanks and a little shorter to North Pole, AK. It is conveniently located within proximity of a number of restaurants, breweries, and among a number of outdoor activities. ||The location was quiet, and we enjoyed waking up to the rooster each morning. ||Overall, the cabin is well-appointed, albeit

Jasmine and David are welcoming and genial hosts who will make you feel at home. They are very responsive and knowledgeable locals who take pride in their community. If you are visiting because you want to fulfill your Aurora chasing dreams, the North Pole location; David’s skycam and passion for auroras; plus his expert guide contacts will ensure your dreams come true. One star off is because of the many times I bumped my head on the low, sharply sloped loft ceiling (I am below average in height) - perhaps bright signage to remind folks of this potential hazard and a few neglected items (food-stained dishes & toaster oven; stained bathrug, musty blanket (quickly resolved by taking antihistamines). Overall, our family had a memorable time staying at The Cozy Caribou and we’ll be back!

We stayed 3 nights at the end of August. We had a one bedroom house named the Cozy Caribou that was very cute. It has a living room with a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The only thing that we had to get used to was that there was no sink in the bathroom and washing was done in the kitchen sink. The upstairs has the queen bed. The roof is slanted so we had to be careful not to hit our head. It didn’t include breakfast though the cabin was well stocked with snacks, sweets, coffee, and tea which made us feel at home. It was in a quiet location, and we chose this place to hopefully see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, it rained & was cloudy when we got there. If I could give a 10 star rating for my stay - I would. David and Jasmine are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Their assistance in helping me get myself equipped and on the water for a remote kayak trip was invaluable. My home for the week was the "Cosy Caribou"cabin which was extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. ||A 15 minute drive takes you from their beautiful rural location to downtown Fairbanks via main highways. There are numerous attractions to visit and experience. ||Would I come again...??? Absolutely !!!!!
