Fremont Hotel & Casino

Booked through Expedia everything was going great till check in. I had never been charged for a resort/ cleaning fee of “$75” I booked two rooms. And I was charged “$86” for both on my card. I was also charged $100 for each room as a hold and was said I would get them back at checkout out and I didn’t not. I loved this place also the room was extremely SMALL and crowed. It’s sad that I had to give this place 1 star.

I have really enjoyed other Boyd hotels so I thought this location would be great. If you're looking for the party, it's here. If you're looking for great amenities, services, or a decent night's sleep, go elsewhere. The only saving grace to this hotel is their valet... they are top tier! In a 4 day stay, we were never provided maid service (including changing towels or removing trash). Also, the 1st night, we listened to seemingly endless sirens and fire truck honking, revving loud exhaust, music, screaming, partying, etc. In the morning, we called concierge to see about a quieter room... only to find out that we were considered being in the "quiet zone" (room 919, just off of the elevators) and we were locked into the rooms as we didn't cancel in their time frame. This was during NFR so

Positive: Location, availability of food services. Staff was excellent. Negative: Deluxe King Room had a tiny sink in bathroom, there were NO outlets for use in the room!

We were on our 2 weeks trip in Las Vegas and decided to stay downtown for 2 nights. Fremont was our choice because of the location, and it was the best decision we had made, it's in the middle of everything in downtown. We also found out that the hotel is under the same business of Sam's Town, which is our favorite hotel and casino. The room is nice and tidy, the space is right, not too big or too small. The restaurants within the hotel are good. The front desk staff are helpful. We will come again.

Spent the night here, Great location. The room was really clean and comfortable. Not positive , but I feel like there was a recent remodel to the rooms. The only downside was the staff in general just didn't seem happy, like they could care less if you were there or not. We didn't see anyone smiling.
