Four Points by Sheraton Wakefield Boston Hotel & Conference Center

My husband and I stayed here for 8 days at Thanksgiving time. We stayed in the recently renovated tower rooms, and they are working on remodeling the hotel wings. The room was fine, clean and a great refrigerator and microwave plus coffee pot, although they had free coffee in the lobby all the time. The lobby area was cozy and a great sitting place with 2 gas fireplaces and comfy seats. The breakfast was free and delicious (hot and cold, waffles, fruit etc) and the staff so friendly. A shout out thanks to Shane at the front desk who worked to make our stay even better, and we plan on staying here again when we are in the Boston area. Location is great, only 30 minutes to Boston Logan, and a great shopping and restaurant area (Market Street) almost within walking distance of the hotel. I

I was not aware that Sheraton was bought by Marriott but it was. So I who tried my best not to book Marriott properties based on a few of our recent experiences we ended up in one anyway. I mentioned it to the front desk person who assured me I would have great service. AND IT WAS GREAT SERVICE. The staff are pleasant and eager to assist. The ROOM was not as great. It was a room with wheelchair accessible but it was so small my dad's wheelchair did not move very well. Luckily he's able to walk just not for very long. The room was meant for 4 adults and they provided 2 of the smallest draws which my one sweater could not fit. Dressing and putting on make up was very hard as the room had no functional furniture. Positive: Location, quietness (room was away from the highway), comfortable bed, staff, lobby is beautiful, breakfast, there is a bar/restaurant for dinner which was good. Negative: The room is in need of a big renovation. The front desk said they were renovating room by room. Just ask for a renovated room when you check in.

Our visit was during the week 1 night from out of state. Plenty of parking, great customer service, and the room was spacious and clean. Not too far from Boston Children’s Hospital just give yourself time for traffic. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here while laying a loved one to rest and the entire hotel staff was incredibly helpful. We had a couple request that Tam, Shane and Scott went above and beyond to help us. It felt like people helping people in a time of need as it should be. Rooms, location and breakfast while not our main focus of the week was outstanding. Thank you team Wakefield Sheraton, your thoughtfulness will not be forgotten. We will stay here again no doubt! The Booth family
