Fossil Creek Mobile Home RV Park

This is a smaller mobile home and RV Park that has a lot of potential. We stopped one night as we were traveling across interstate 70. The park is horseshoe shaped and on the perimeter our mobile homes. Many of the mobile homes do look abandoned. Within the center of the Horseshoe is where the majority of the campsites are located. Our site was level and it was partially concrete and partially grass. We were located directly across the bath house which was very clean and appear to have a very nice laundry area also even though we did not use the laundry. There are two separate rooms within the bath house each have their own private sink shower and toilet. Again very clean. The owner was responsive as we made a same day reservation. Pleasant quiet little park that gets the job done. Level spots with fhu. Laundry/bathrooms is nicely set up. Individual restroom and shower combos give that extra level of comfort. Owners are on site and got the friendliest welcome. Very close to fuel and food and the i70. Convenient and friendly.

We spent one night here and were very pleasantly surprised to find this peaceful spot so close to the highway. Called about a hour ahead or arrival and spoke to the friendly owner/manager who said they had space. The price was right so we headed there, close to the highway but far enough away so you didn't hear it, large grassy lots, spotlessly clean bathrooms & laundry area and very short walk to several places to eat. Campground was super quiet, would definitely stay here again!

This was an unplanned stay as we were going from Kansas City to Denver to help a relative. The kindness and convenience that the owners provided was incredibly helpful during a stressful time. The park was clean and quiet. We couldn't have asked for a better arrangement. We'll definitely stay again. Great half way location between KCK and Denver..
