Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort

I recently stayed at the Pompano Beach Marriott Resort & Spa and had a wonderful experience. The beachfront location is beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing and well maintained. I especially want to recognize the valet team for their efficiency and professionalism. A special thank you to Francesco, who truly stood out during my stay. He was consistently welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth and stress-free. It’s clear he takes pride in delivering excellent service, and it definitely enhanced my overall experience. The rest of the staff was friendly and accommodating as well. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Pompano Beach.

Loved our corner room. Plenty of space in the room. Only draw back is the lack of clothes drawer space. Staff is very friendly and the fitness center is new with a ton of machines to workout on. The beach view is really nice too. |The towel guy at the pool is awesome! Very friendly!! The pool is really big with plenty of sitting. It’s not quiet when kids are around but very nice to hangout.|Parking is pricey…$44/day for valet or self parking.

We found out that as of TODAY the hotel pools will be closed until February 2025. There was no notice of this when we booked or checked in. We found out this more when we went down for breakfast & saw the signs. Today was our last day but we were planning on using the amenities since there was a resort fee. Turned out the weather due to storm Denise wouldn’t allow us the use the beach. This hotel did not meet expectations and was overpriced for the quality, location & amenities.

Sheila & Elzie from the poolside towel service was just amazing!! The were the highlight of the trip! They were friendly and beyond attentive to anything we needed while at the pool; they went above and beyond . Really made my stay. Most of the poolside staff was kind. There was a man at the coffee bar that was just amazing!! Drinks came fast and food was good! We got dinner at the restaurant and our server was also amazing! The room was exceptionally clean and the cleaning staff was super attentive! This hotel was an older crowd forsure but we loved the quiet and serene vibes. The beach staff, dinner, bar severs, receptionists, all were just amazing! Great hotel 100% worth the price.

My stay at the Marriott Pompano Beach was a mixed experience. The weekend was quite chaotic, and it felt like the hotel may not have been fully prepared for the volume of guests at that time. There were moments of disorganization and longer wait times than expected. However, not everything was negative. The location is excellent, right in front of the beach, which is definitely a major plus. The pool area is beautiful, well maintained, and offers a relaxing atmosphere. I especially want to highlight Francesco from the valet team, who truly made a difference during our stay.
