Florentina Motel

$50 for 2 hours is alright. Has a mini fridge, AC, shower, and Wifi. Plenty of parking and the service is good, just have to buzz at the window if no one's there. Room is always clean when I go.

If it wasn't for the wife, my friend and I would've been out in the streets late at night. My friend and I were coming from the Bay Area for two nights and one day, and she already booked a reservation for this place. She also informed them that we were going to be coming in the middle of the night, to which they didn't respond to. Upon arriving to LA, she called them several times but no one picked up and when we showed up there wasn't anyone in the office. (We didn't know there would be off hours since this is a motel) After ringing the bell we finally had someone come to the window and the guy told us that he already rented out our room, said there were no rooms available, and basically left us stranded. After about 10 minutes of us calling other places, his wife comes out and tells us

The motel was quite outside the city, a car is required. Only fast food restaurants around. On the other hand it was quite cheap. Especially I remember the friendly staff. The wifi connection was good. The rooms were clean and good equipped.

Terrible service. The room was like a prison cell with concrete walls and FLOOR. Sure it was nice to smell that the room had been recently cleaned but, it was cleaned with bleach that burned my nose when I walked in. If you're looking for a comfortable stay, this is NOT it. Management on site (woman) racially profiles. As soon as I checked in I was being yelled at for a $5 cash deposit that if I hadn't had, I would not be checked in. Thankfully the gentleman (maybe top manager) waived the fee, bit ONLY as long as I left and brought back $10 in cash. I was here for 2 hours and harassed by another customer, only to be yelled at again by the woman manager to leave. She thought he was my visitor, just because we were both black. I didn't know that person and was not able to explain

Their customer service was so bad, we had stayed one time before and it went well. Our second stay we got there and they said they had rented out our room. Wanted to offer us another room for extra charge of $100. We were gonna cancel and leave so they offered the room at a better price. Which was good but then the next day there was no power or heat for water from 10am until we don’t know what time in the night. We had left at 8am from the hotel to run errands and when we head back to the hotel at 5pm we came to a room with no power. That is when they let us know that the block had lost power. But never called any of the guest to let them know what was going on. My boyfriend and I had to shower and get ready for a family event. So we tried to check-out because no services were available
