Flamingo Las Vegas

We booked a run of the house room but was offered an upgrade. Took an offer for the 2 bedroom 1400 square foot Presidential Suite for a little more than the cost of the two rooms we had already booked. Room 25093 was clean but the furnishings looked tired. Soaking tubs in both bathrooms were appreciated after all the walking and were put to use. Comfortable beds, king in one bedroom, two queens in the other. Great view of the habitat and pool area, The Highroller and The Sphere. Loved having a refrigerator and a coffee maker, and made much use of the bar area to hang out together (2 couples). 4 tvs throughout, great for watching all the wildcard football! Positive: The location was perfect. Totally central on the Strip. Plus, the hotel has a relatively easier setup for taxis and rideshare compared to some of the giant hotels nearby. Negative: The experience wasn't great for how much we paid. The bathroom wasn't clean and was easily flooded by the shower. The fire alarm went off at 4am for 40 minutes. And we were woken up by a hotel worker at 2am the next night for pillows we didn't ask for.

It seems they are trying to improve the facility. A newer lobby was unveiled during our stay. The room was ok, bed was great. Bathroom needs updating. Service was poor for us. The hotel was obviously fairly empty on the Wednesday we arrived. However they required a fee if you wanted your room before 3:30. We had no body wash in the shower receptacle the first day. The phone in the room didn’t work properly. Had to stand in line to ask for filling of the body wash. When we came back in the evening we had lots of extra towels but still no body wash. So yes it was cheaper than other strip locations but I would not book it again, The casino was fine although quite smoke filled at times.

We stayed at the Flamingo in the Habitat Room 1 King, Strip View. We had a wonderful experience with our stay. When we arrived for our first night our room was not available so they gave us a $50 food and beverage credit and put us in a similar room. The next day at 11 am they had our room available and we absolutely loved it. The rooms were clean and updated. We loved the view of the strip and the location is hard to beat! We were able to walk a lot of the strip and loved not having to uber everywhere. We also loved the restaurant strip between the Flamingo and the Linq. Next time we are in Vegas we will definitely be staying at the Flamingo again!

A great stay for a long weekend. The room pricing is really good and the room quality doesn't suffer for it. We did get an upgrade when our original room wasn't ready at check-in. The staff were helpful and friendly. We even got walked over to the VIP check-in when the line got too long. We also booked a couple's massage at the spa which was great. The spa is well equipped and relaxing. We would have stayed much longer if our itinerary wasn't so packed. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The lights took a few minutes to figure out. Our room safe also wasn't working but we didn't need it thankfully.
