My family has been coming here for almost 50 years starting with my grandparents and my mom when she was a kid. I have been in attendance about 20 years now. Beautiful, cozy, well stocked cabins. Gorgeous lake. Paradise up north. Full access to Fair Hills Resort as well makes this a fantastic, well-rounded vacation. There are non motorized boats available all along the shore by the cabins and there are always plenty to go around. Each cabin comes with a small electric fishing boat as well. The lake is well stocked enough to catch fish throughout the week and have a fish fry for 20 people on Friday. We do a multi-generational family trip and book cabins 2, 3 and 4 all in a row. Only electric motors are allowed on the lake so it is calm, quiet and pristine. For more adventure we drive to the

Kind of expensive for what you get. I went for a wedding this past summer. The venue for weddings is absolutely stunning. The staff that helped with bars and everything was incredible as well. My family stayed in one of the cabins on the lake (it was cabin 10 I believe). There is no WiFi anywhere which I believe wouldn't be such a problem if the cost to stay there was so high. The cabins did have some really cute touches though. Each one came with a small boat that you were free to use and I noticed a really cool journal where you could document your stay and read the experiences of other people who have stayed there. The venue itself didn't have the best parking but it was manageable because most of the people at the wedding were staying at the cabins which are walking distance.

A friend had their ceremony and reception here. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful and provided a lovely wooded view. I love how many space options were available for the cocktail hour and reception. Guests were able to enjoy the barn upstairs and down, a bonfire, or the lawn by playing games. Also, they had the most luxurious port-a-potties I've ever seen.

We had our wedding at Five Lakes and all our family and guests stayed at Five Lakes cabins. The cabins are great for a big family reunion or a good clean fun kind of grown up camp experience. The cabins are dated, but work great for a family get away. They are all close to the lakes, have lots of beds, all the appropriate kitchen necessities and most have very small AC units. The wedding venue, barn, is gorgeous!!!! The support staff is fabulous but the family management is a little shady. They have hidden service fees they double tax, so be careful with the bill. Overall a great place for a destination wedding just be on your game as they are not very professional with their wedding coordinators or being up front about the billing. The management, Beth in particular, can be demeaning and

If you are looking for luxury and room service, this is not the place. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet time away from your normal life, this is the place! Beautiful grounds on a private lake. Helpful, caring staff that stays out of your way unless needed. This place is great for fishing. We don't really fish but had a great time anyway! We have two kids that loved their time in the water, on kayaks, canoes, etc. We even had a boat (with electric motor) to use, dedicated for our cabin. Cabins are "basic" but have everything we needed - plenty of towels, blankets, dishes. We saw lots of wildlife, too - bald eagle, loons, woodchuck, deer. Highly recommend for a break from "real life."
