Birchmere Resort & Campground

We recently stayed for a week (cabin #7) and our whole vacation was wonderful! The cabin, and entire resort, was neat and clean. The beach was sandy and perfect for our 3 kids (ages 2-5 years old) to play at. The owners were friendly, gracious, and helpful to us during our whole stay! Would definitely recommend!

This is not your standard trailer park campground. The mature trees and spacious campsites really set this park apart. The new owners have been here for just over a year and are incredibly warm and welcoming. This is a great place to get away while feeling like you are only .3” from home.

Definitely would stay here again! Kathy is awesome! She is so kind and very accommodating. She is what great management is all about! The resort is very clean and quiet! We made long and lasting memories there! Thank you, Kathy!

First off...there are some reviews on here that are rediculous. If you read the rules, and raise your kids to follow them, you will not have the problems some immature people have commented about in their reviews. ||||We just returned from an amazing trip to Birchmere! Kathy the owner is fantastic. So friendly and great with the kids. Our kids couldn't wait to show her the pictures of the fish we caught.. She sells some ice cream treats and candy that are affordable for small kids. Some candy was only .20 cents. We met some family and stayed. 4 days. The swimming is great, clean lake. The fishing is amazing. Between the 4 adults and 5 kids I bet we caught and released over 100 fish in one day. We rented the pontoon they have and it was perfect for our large group of 9. Nice family owned campground. The signs about the privately owned property and no guests were a little excessive and not welcoming (we didn’t have guests and never intended to but were put off by the signs). The grounds are beautiful but the bath house could use some updating. Didn’t fish so can not comment on lake. Was also put off after asking if there is WiFi available being told no, but to “enjoy my family”. While I 100% agree with this and that it is nice to unplug when enjoying the great outdoors, I brought my laptop because I had work to do. I used my hotspot on my phone which worked, but I didn’t appreciate the condescending tone.
