Fireside RV Resort

This is our favorite place to stay in the area. The owner and staff are really friendly. It's not clear cut of trees like most RV parks so there is nice shade, but the trees that there don't cause a problem getting my trailer (44 ft 5th wheel) in and out. There are fun activities for the kids and we feel safe letting our kids run around. Prices are very reasonable, and the facilities are clean and kept up. Would recommend to anyone looking for both weekends or long term. We are currently spending the winter here.

We had a slight hiccup with our cabin when we arrived, and Mrs. Vicky went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. It was our first time staying at Fireside, but you would have thought she knew us for a lifetime. She treated us like family, even going as far as to making us a complementary pizza to help ease the stress of our original cabin experience. The young woman at the front desk was a huge help, along with Mrs. Vicky, we settled into a new cabin and had the best weekend getaway! Highly recommend Fireside, their customer service and support is 5-Star!

They are extremely diligent, clean, and safety conscious. The staff of grounds stay up on trash removal and other requests as needed. They're great hosts/hostesses for those needing a place to park your RV. On some Sundays we were treated to some donut holes placed on our RV Steps. Great place to rent and stay forba bit.

We absolutely love this place. It is well taken care of. The campsites have plenty of room. The owner is very friendly and takes your care of the camping guest. We came all the way here from Maryland and it did not disappoint.

We don’t have an RV, so this review is more about our experience while staying in a cabin. The cabins are new and very nice. The queen bed is extremely comfortable and the bunk beds have enough head room for an adult to sit up without hitting their head. The sofa bed was also more comfortable than expected. The cabin comes well-equipped, except for bedding, pillows and towels. The park is surrounded by trees. The pool, lazy river and swim-up bar are wonderful. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. There are ample chairs by the pool and some in the shade, if that’s important to you. I appreciated the “adult only” pool & sitting area. The grounds are well-maintained and we will definitely be back! Very relaxing!
