Firelite Lodge

I want to leave this review specifically for Alex who is the person I have had help with all my reservations every time so far. I have left probably a half a dozen reviews in my life time but I feel compelled to just say how amazing he has been. The hotel is also absolutely perfect in every way, I would double down on what all the other positive reviews say, but what truly makes it a 5 star location is when you have someone like Alex helping you with literally any and every question you have and helping you find the right room for your budget and preferences. 10 stars.

Firelight Lodge is the kind of place that makes you instantly slow down and actually soak in the moment. We loved how perfectly located it was, so close to cute shops and restaurants, and literally just steps away from Lake Tahoe which made popping out for walks and exploring so easy. The space itself was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and so inviting, and the fireplace was such a cute, cozy touch that made the whole stay feel extra special. Mornings were calm and dreamy, nights were quiet and cozy, and the overall energy was exactly what we needed. If you’re looking for a stay that feels relaxing, charming, and memorable, Firelight Lodge truly delivers

We are happy to find Firelite lodge for our skii trip. Unlike a few lodges we stayed around this area, firelite room feels more like updated hotel room. Wifi is fast (100Mbps). Room and bedding is clean. Modern looking gas fireplace radiates generous heat. Extra sink outside of bathroom, which is important for family but most rooms don't have that. A few sets of utensils and cups are also considerate setup. All in all it seems magically tailored to our need, no more, no less. Rate is very reasonable too. Messages to host is responded almost always within minutes. My nitpicking wife is happy, which is most important.

Positive: This hotel was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom alone should attention detail. Spotless clean. Negative: The bathroom, thankfully there was a window, but the location was terrible. There’s almost no privacy in the bathroom.

Great little hotel right across from the lake. Nice pool but was covered for winter. Room very nice with cute fireplace that warms up the place. Nice kitchenette and nicely stocked. Bathroom towels were super soft - nice tough. Getting the door access code ahead or time was super convenient. Really enjoyed this place.
