Festival Park Campground

Awesome campground with nice people running it. Its very secluded and quiet, and they have soap in the showers. It has a great family owned feel to it, and the owners are very accommodating. They have free firewood as well. It may or may not be haunted

It's an affordable option while cycling the GAP. It's no frills but if you're tent camping a toilet & shower are nice basic details. Showers need to be cleaned & I typically wear shower shoes/camp shoes anyway. Having outlets on the stage area were helpful to charge up my gadgets but beware for burnt outlets. It seemed fairly quiet being in a neighborhood but you will hear the trains. Soil a bit rocky to stake out rain fly. Picnic tables were helpful to sort out gear. Susie was very friendly over the phone.

We were looking for staying in Meyersdale over night. We’re referred by the locals to this campground located just in town. Although the main entrance by Meyers Avenue looked like a regular neighborhood house, it became huge when we walked to its back. There was a covered stage that might fit many tents. The open campground was nice. There were a lot of benches and picnic tables. There were restrooms with showers. There was corn holes to play on as well.

Surprisingly great place! Exceeded my expectations in every way. I set my hammock up under a roof there was free fire wood and wifi. Plenty of room for tents throughout the yard and plenty of places to set up under a roof. Showers and bathrooms were very clean and spacious. I highly recommend this place. Its so conveniently located to restaurants too! Im on avery long bike journey (acrossthemapwithmatt.com) this has been a great and restful stop.

Great camp for bike riders. Suzie has thought of everything: firewood, clothesline with pins, a can opener, wifi, boxes of games and a frisbee...all.stuff you might use while here. We are camped on a stage with a giant tent that has four older people in it. Altogether there were 10 people staying at the camp. Its quiet and feels safe. Bathrooms and clean and the single show is hot. A great deal for $15/tent.
