WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Floors were extremely dirty, dead bugs in the overhead light fixture, no hot water, hole in the wall where toilet paper holder should be, bath fan dirty and inoperable, electrical wires hanging out of the wall at the outlet next to the bed, no ice machine (you have to go to the sister property about a mile away to get ice), and indifferent staff. ||I reported all of these problems to the owner of the motel, and he saw them in person, but did not fix most of them during our stay. I wrote him several emails during my stay as I discovered the various problems (since the front desk is only open a few hours a day) and he did not bother to respond. The woman at the front desk was not helpful - she said she would have the owner call me to discuss, but he never did.|

Positive: It provided a place to sleep and a warm shower Negative: Office was miserable hot. In the room the heater was finicky and really hard to get a comfortable temp. Air conditioning was a portable separate unit, not sure how well it worked, I didn?t need AC.

My husband & I stayed here 1 night in September 2025. The motel is old, staff closes office at 7pm, no ice machine on site. The room was one of the "cheapest" in Forks, WA... does this look like a $230 a night room? No amenities at all except a place to sleep & shower. Room 105 was small, & smelled too strongly of cleaning solution. We had to leave door open for a bit to air it out. TV was not working...cable was out. The walls were very thin...noisy neighbors & trash truck changing the roll off dumpster behind the building at 6:30 am! The most alarming thing is that this motel was in violation of a fire safety issue, as THE SMOKE DETECTOR FOR THE ROOM WAS LAYING IN THE DESK DRAWER, INSTEAD OF BEING INSTALLED ON THE WALL! I do not recommend staying here.

The hotel room was clean, the shower had lots of hot water, and it was very minimal as far as decorations went. We had a good night of sleep, and then we found out the hard way that the key cards are deactivated by 8:00 a.m. So if you leave your room for any reason, make sure there's someone else in there or you are not getting back in your room. There is no one in the office to help you, the sign says that there wouldn't be anyone until 2:00 p.m. even though check out time is at 11:00, you just drop off your key card. The good news is that the only thing we lost was a phone charger and we didn't do anything monumentally stupid like leave our bags in the hotel room, thus trapping us until there was someone in the office.

The microwave was broken, the AC was loud but not cooling, and the bathroom light didn’t work. We wasted a lot of time waiting for them to do repairs, which disrupted our schedule and even made it hard to enjoy proper meals. The environment felt very basic, the floor wasn’t clean, there were very few power outlets, and the room itself was really small. Yet the price was $230 per night, absolutely unreasonable. This was the second most expensive room on my entire road trip, but all the other hotels I stayed in were bigger, cleaner, and better equipped, while also being cheaper. I’ve traveled to 20 countries and have never left a negative review for a hotel before, but this stay was extremely uncomfortable and I really feel the need to warn others to avoid this place.
