Farmhouse Getaways

We’ve stayed at both Mountain Retreat and Red Barn Ranch and both stays were fantastic! Both Getaways are peaceful, quiet and have so much to do on-site. We loved the hiking trails behind Mountain Retreat, and we also hire one of their preferred chefs for a beautiful 3 course dinner! Red Barn Ranch was great for the little ones with the entire red barn being a game room and arcade, so much fun for everyone! Thank you for having us! We will definitely be back!

very relaxing and wonderful places to stay. Mountain Retreat has a hot tub, game room, state hiking trails right there and beautiful Mountain View’s. I stayed at Red Barn ranch which has many amenities and places to stay. A nice pool area, outdoor grilling with ample seating, fresh eggs , an awesome greenhouse and garden.

My family just returned fro 4 nights at Red Barn Ranch in Ramona. There were 8 adults and 7 kids, ranging in age from 7 down to 4 months. Cory and Carissa are the most gracious hosts, taking the kids to gather eggs on the farm and teaching them about the different types of chickens. They also arranged a private visit to two neighborhood farms, where the kids were able to pick, and eat, berries and other fresh fruits and we all learned a bot about sustainable farming. They were very responsive to our needs,and their warm and welcoming disposistions made our trip all the more enjoyable. Our grandkids loved that they could run down the hill to the game room, and we felt pretty comfortable letting them be outside with minimal supervision. I have stayed at both their properties. Each one has it's own unique features. My kids especially liked the game room and only got out of the pool to eat! 10/10 would go back and recommend to anyone looking for a resort like vacation!
