Fantasy Island Campground

I never expected the experience we had at fantasy Island campground. Not only was the crambin perfect it was nestled right next to the beautiful Susquehanna river. My friends and I took this trip as a last trip before we went to college and it was want we wanted and more. The staff of the campground were amazing and the campers were even better. I left a bag at the campground and they responded so quickly and were so helpful to get my bag back to me quickly. We all cant wait to come back if you were thinking of booking do you wont forget it!||- Grace

Absolutely great time visiting and staying at this campground. Great island location right on the water, cute town around the corner, few nice parks to relax around and more. The staff and other guests we me were like family, definitely recommend

The campground is showing some serious age. The roads are very rough with lots of potholes, and the concrete pads are almost completely disintegrating. We came in on a day that was raining and there was lots of pooling water. It almost looked as if the park was partly flooding. The price though was good as we used our Passport America. I think if you need a place to stay for a night this is fine. The utilities all worked, but their location is tough. I had to add an extension for my water hose, and the sewer connection is almost under your RV once parked on the pad. They do have some gravel sites that were actually more level than the concrete pads. I will give them credit as the staff was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Not the classiest RV park we’ve ever seen, according to the advertising we were expecting something nicer. Also pretty tight accommodations. But still a good spot to relax. The pool was amazing! Shikellamy State park is right across the road and a beautiful place to hang out! Don’t forget to check out Pelicans Snoballs if you’re in the area!

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. My husband and I came back to fantasy island after a wonderful initial stay a few years ago. The bathrooms were clean, the showers were hot, and the campground was nice and quiet. Unfortunately, upon our return this year, with our 11 month old, we discovered that it has really gone downhill since then. The bathrooms are filthy and never seemed to be cleaned the whole time we were here. Trash is all over the floor and the toilets are horrific. The showers only had freezing cold water and the light in the bathroom shut off midway through my shower with my baby. It was terrifying. There aren’t even any emergency or floodlights. This seems very dangerous to me, and it scared both my son and I. There is also nowhere to dress a little one after a shower or have them sit. We
