Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Tifton

Stayed in Room 203 during a recent visit, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. The room had a noticeable odor when we arrived, and the air conditioner made loud knocking sounds that made it hard to sleep unless we turned it off — not ideal in Georgia’s heat.||The amenities felt underwhelming. The coffee labeled “bold” tasted more like lightly tinted water, and the breakfast area had a large tip jar that felt a bit out of place. Parking was tough too — every spot was taken, and we had to circle for a while before finding one.||Inside the room, the outlets were loose enough that charging devices was tricky, and the bathroom floor didn’t look clean. My daughter talked me to try you out..ok...her company spent over 1 million dollars a year in the north area and this one said...your room will be cleaned every other day...thats a BIG FAT LIE...checked in on Tuesday morning and its Saturday night and hasn't been touched and we had to go get towels every night...am very not happy and asked to speak to a manager and still haven't heard from you yet....I was in Room 233 and breakfast was good ...thats it..most likely will not return to this place ...

My family had quite an enjoyable experience here. The room and work area were spacious and well-designed, the hotel was clean throughout, my husband truly enjoyed the breakfast and the variety offered, and the customer service was outstanding. I overlooked a step in getting WiFi on my computer and called downstairs and a friendly and knowledgeable member of the staff came immediately to my room and showed me in mere minutes what to do. We were holistically quite satisfied with our stay and experience.

Location was fine. Conveniently off the expressway. Lobby seemed nice and inviting. Room did not meet expectations. We walked in and it smelled like men’s cologne which cleared quickly. There was floss left on the made bed. Bed comfort was okay. There was also an empty bottle of wine on the floor. The bathroom floors were disgusting. They didn’t look clean and there was urine on the floor around the base of the toilet. The bathroom also had something splattered on the wall. Also some type of black growth above the window. Lastly while trying to sleep when the heat turned on it was making a loud obnoxious noise which was making it difficult to sleep. We had to turn it off or else we wouldn’t have. I would never stay here again.

The hotel is comfortable, our room is clean and spacious, with two TVs — one more modern than the other — and the newer one is in a small sitting area at the entrance of the room. We stayed just for one night. The front desk staff was very friendly; I believe her name was Alexandra or Alexandria. The hotel is pet-friendly and well equipped. The only recommendation I’d like to make is to add a set of weights to the gym — it would be perfect! The machines available are only for cardio. :) Thank you!
