Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites St. Joseph

The Fairfield Inn & Suites is a very clean, newer hotel that offers a comfortable and functional stay. From the moment you walk in, the property feels fresh and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus, featuring a tasty croissant sandwich and hot coffee, which made mornings convenient and enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, providing plenty of room to work. The desk area had good lighting, which made it easy to get work done, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was larger than expected and featured a sliding barn-style door that helped maximize space a great touch for both comfort and functionality. The common office area was nice and quiet, which I appreciated; however, it could use some improvement. Office supplies were limited,

I don't normally have a problem sleeping in hotels, and I've been in hundreds of them. But this one had a mattress that was pretty hard and pillows that were too soft. Otherwise, everything about it was neat, clean, and very comfortable.

Of the many hotels we stayed at on our cross-country road trip, this was probably the cleanest of the lot. Nice attention to details in the decor. The pool room was also very comfortable, with nice chairs and towels. While the kiddos swam, we were able to sit very comfortably and chat. The room decor was very nice, and beds were very comfy. Breakfast was top notch. I really liked this place. It was, naturally, more expensive than the Holiday Inns we stayed at otherwise, but you often get what you pay for. This place was very nice. I'd stay here again.

Needed a place to crash for the night after a long haul on the interstate, and this Fairfield looked good. It was a clean hotel and room. The bed was comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. The staff was friendly without being over the top. I asked for a late checkout, and the woman at the front desk handled it with a simple "no problem." Perfect for travelers; right off the highway with gas stations and a few restaurants nearby. The breakfast in the morning was solid, too. Nothing fancy, but the eggs and sausage were hot and it saved us a stop. If you just need a clean, quiet, and dependable place to stay in St. Joe, this is a great choice.
