Drury Inn & Suites St. Joseph

The hotel was the perfect location. We were welcomed by Cameron who went above and beyond for us!!!! Dog friendly and staff even went out of their way to give him treats! Very happy with a delicious fresh breakfast with tons of choices. Everything in the hotel was perfectly clean, very hot water which was welcomed after a long travel day!

Positive: Good coffee! Easy to get in and out- never had an issue with my key card and there was a back exit near the elevator. Social hour with free dinner is a nice touch! Negative: The parking. I arrived on a Monday evening and had a hard time finding a parking spot. After that day, there were spots available, but a narrow parking lot and several larger work trucks in the lot (other guests, I think) made it difficult to park.

We were so surprised at the quality of this hotel. We are on a road trip from Florida back home to Fargo. Never heard of Drury hotel before but I can honestly say I wish we had stayed every night in one of these hotels. If they are all like the one in St Joseph's then I HIGHLY recommend. Clean heated indoor pool & hot tub. After a long day of driving it felt fantastic. The complementary evening beverage and food was beyond a couple snacks. They had soup, salad, hot dogs, meatballs, nachos, I could go on..... It was much more than expected. The front desk people were extremely friendly and courteous. This is a very clean hotel. The beds are comfortable and staff is welcoming and friendly. We stayed last night and this was our first experience. The place was packed, however the rooms were quiet. First time we have slept in in months! The bar was closed when we arrived so I cannot rate that, however breakfast was amazing! It was hot, fresh and hands down the best coffee(even in the room) of any hotel we have stayed at…and we stay in a lot!

Check in experience was great. Very friendly staff. Comfortable beds, clean room, great location. Breakfast was very good, breakfast attendant was kind, dining area was well cleaned. The only thing I didn't love was an odd smell in the main lobby. Thought it was just a one off during check in but was there in the morning too. Not sure what it was, wasn't overpowering just a little unpleasant. Didn't seem to carry into anywhere else that we went, just that main area.
