Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Selinsgrove

We are currently here but leaving tomorrow to go home. This was our first time staying here to view Christmas lights in the area. We usually stay out another hotel in the area but due to whirlpool being down for 3 of the last 4 years. I looked elsewhere this year. The moment you walk in you are welcomed. We were going to leave Sunday but due to snow we asked to stay another night which the front desk (Ashley) gladly took our card while we were out breakfast and set it up for us. The breakfast is amazing with waffle maker, fruits, yogurt, juices, coffee, bagel, muffins, zucchini and banana bread from a local place. The oatmeal bar is amazing with all toppings needed. The pool and the whirlpool is amazing and warm in the area not cold. Was in the whirl pool and pool at least 3 nights in

The room was quiet and spacious with a sofa and desk, also had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Their breakfast buffet was decent, but if you're paleo, avoiding gluten like the plague and not wanting dairy, breakfast is a challenge. It was manageable, by carrying Epic bars everywhere, and the hotel buffet had hard boiled eggs and walnuts. I didn't starve. ;-)

The photos online showed a brand new hotel. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the lobby to see a hotel that still looked brand new but was several years old (based on the various awards displayed). The rooms were clean and fresh, the lobby and dining area was clean and well kept, and the pool was also in excellent condition. ||In the last year, I've stayed at about a dozen different hotels across the country. All three of the Marriotts I have been to are top notch, this one included. The only hotel that's beat them out has been Disney's Grand Californian Hotel - but that was much more expensive. For the price and quality, Marriotts have become our preferred chain of choice.

Front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was spotless and appeared to be all new. The staff at breakfast was very friendly also

Just stayed here overnight and was so impressed with this hotel. Staff were very helpful and had great personality. The rooms were spotless and well appointed. Whoever designed the layout is genius. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was great. My only complaint was no bacon. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.
