Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Rockingham

I’ve stayed here about five times now whenever I’m in the area, and it’s consistently a great experience. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Special shout-out to Lynn🫶, who was covering the breakfast dining area—she was so happy and pleasant and really went out of her way to make sure I got all the good stuff. She even packed me a to-go bag, which was such a nice touch! Also worth mentioning: the breakfast here is actually very good. I’ll definitely keep staying here when I’m in town.

The staff was friendly and helpful giving us our room with a somewhat early arrival. The room was very nicely equipped and clean. We spent the afternoon in the outdoor pool which was very warm and clean. We would definitely stay here again as a stopover when traveling to the Myrtle Beach area. The only negative was the breakfast was somewhat lacking but certainly not bad.

Had a great experience at this hotel. Staff was very helpful. Allowed a dog to stay in room with a deposit which was released after an inspection of the room just prior to checkout. Was concerned that may take a long time and delay checkout. To my surprise and delight, manager came and inspected within a couple of minutes from the time I called. Process worked very well. Would stay here again for sure.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is not the first time staying at Fairfield Rockingham, but it will be the last. When making the reservation in Oct 2025, I used my credit card to secure the reservation. The credit card was replaced during Oct and today, and received notification that the reservation would be cancelled if we did not confirm by 2PM today. Was unable to update thru the app, and my wife and I had to contact Marriot 3x to correct before checkin. Then on checkin, my wife was denied since the reservation was under my name. Understand there are processes and security, but Debbie - take note that you better take extra care of my family as I'm very dissatisfied with this reservation.

The Fairfield Inn is the place to stay in Rockingham. The staff is outstanding- friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms are exceptionally clean - ours was very comfortable. And the breakfast is more than adequate. Lynn who manages the breakfast area is a delight - she is engaging and customer focused in a very southern way. She makes you feel like you are a guest at her breakfast table - being sure that everything is satisfactory and up to your expectations. There are plenty of places to eat within a mile of the hotel - every kind of fast or non fast food place. I compliment the management- everyone we dealt with from the check-in to the check-out has a real customer satisfaction focus. They are very knowledgeable on the surrounding area and very open to help and make recommendations.
