Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Monaca

Traveling for work and I always stay here. While the facility is great and clean, the staff is what truly sets this location apart. The entire team is friendly and professional, but I want to give a special shout out to Mikey and Monique. They both consistently go above and beyond to ensure my stay is always perfect. Whether it is a small request or just checking in to see if I needed anything, they are incredibly proactive. It’s clear they take genuine pride in their work and want to make sure every guest is completely taken care of.

Positive: The room was very clean. Negative: Poorly staffed. Always had to wait for someone to check in or check out. Their free breakfast wasn't available until 7 AM which is was one of the reason why we stayed there. Coffee was also available but cold. We had to leave each morning by 6:45am.

Our stay @ this location was for a family emergency. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our King room was as described by website. Room was clean, quiet, and worth the price. Indoor pool was a great ammenity but not heated so disappointed wasn't able to use during our stay. Breakfast was normal selection waffles, bagels, cereal, and some hot items. Served bacon which looked like chipped ham so we stayed away from. Some items were out of stock for a few days, but all in all standard selection. Close to area mall and shopping. Parking lot was alittle small so had to park farther away from entrance on some nights but very well lit. Good hotel for local travelers in the area. Overall good hotel and worth the price.

So I had a funeral to attend so I did some research online because I had to bring my 7 yr old and I figured we would get a motel with a pool. long story short pool was green and cold told the lady upfront she says the pool is not heated just the room is .so we go back to our room it was freezing called office told them they switched us rooms the new room was freezing took 2 hours for the heat to reach 69 .Was disappointed because I asked the lady for a refund we were gonna go somewhere else she said she couldn't do nothing about it I had to wait to get ahold of the manager the next day so I did and he completely understood and apologized and said he would address the issues. May want to get food before you get there because it took us a long time to order food and then when he finnaly got

The place needs better upkeep. Comforters are stained, and bedding not adequate to contain the comforter without it rolling out. Mold and rust on shower fixtures and flooring. The pool is so murky we couldn’t get in and it’s not being heated. It’s wild to not be able to see to the bottom of a 4 foot pool. I would not stay here again.
