Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites McPherson

Shower area leaks onto floors even spilling into living area. Had to switch rooms as flies began to multiply from the issue. Showers are not draining properly. Laundry dryer out of service for 3 weeks. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Great fitness center.

This hotel was very nice and comfortable. The staff was nice. The rooms were clean. The bathroom tub needs to be replaced with an updated shower. The gym was comfortable and very clean. Could use a bit more equipment. The breakfast choices were excellent. I’m vegan so I appreciated the plant milk. I only wanted fruit and some nuts. The only downside is if you want to take some items rather than eat them there, the breakfast attendant hovers over you and makes it very uncomfortable.

This hotel is beautiful, with comfy beds and quiet rooms. We were able to access our Netflix account right from the TV easily. A hot breakfast was well stocked even up to the end of the breakfast time period and offered many great options. The showers had full sized shampoo/conditioner/shower gel of high quality, which reduces waste of the tiny plastic trial sizes often offered. Staff was pleasant and helpful, and although we didn’t have a chance to use them, there was a very nice fitness room and a pool. Would absolutely stay again!

We were scheduled to stay from 9/3 through 9/15, and from the start, things just seemed a little off. Customer service was decent overall, but a bit unusual—for example, when I’d ask housekeeping for towels, I was told to “go downstairs and ask.” Not a huge issue, but inconvenient. The real problem happened on 9/8. My team and I left for work, got rained out, and returned to the hotel. After running a few errands, we came back and immediately noticed that in one of our four rooms, water was running through the window. (I even took videos to document this.) Concerned, we checked our other three rooms and discovered water was leaking in through those windows as well. I went to the front desk to report it and showed the staff the video. We’ve stayed here for the Marriott loyalty but giving up. Going to stay Lindsborg air bnb or Salina. Elevator has been out for two years. Had hot water problems last time. The hvac in center sounds like a get engine. Done.
