Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Marietta

Great hotel! We’ve stayed here a few times and we’ve never had any problems. Rooms are clean, the staff is wonderful and the breakfast area was clean. Zero complaints. Tyler at the front desk was so friendly and nice. I would alone give Tyler 5/5 stars.

I've stayed here over 40 nights here and there in the last 6 months. The reason I keep coming back is simple, Peggy and her staff make it feel like home for me and that is price when you travel for work. They are the nicest staff I deal with in any capacity at any service encounter. It's hard to find decent people that offer genuine kindness at every encounter. They always do their best to accommodate my room requests and those cheap lil cookies they bake for the front desk are crack biscuits lol, I can eat 5 at a time. Thank you to the front desk staff and Peggy for your genuine care and hospitality.

We were here for just one night. We generally like the Fairfield chain, but we were a bit disappointed with this one given expectations based on the many other favorable reviews. This hotel appears to be an older Fairfield. It's located a 1/2 mile from I-77, so doesn't get any road noise. Downtown Marietta is a 5-10 minute drive away. We had a two-queen suite. None of our concerns were major, but the number of them influenced our rating.||We expected that the two suite rooms would be separated by a door, but the separation was just a partial wall partition (so light our sounds from the other room would not be conducive to privacy). For same reason, there are two small ceiling lights right above the head of the bed, and we didn't see any way to turn them off---annoying! One of the queen bed

The hotel is modern and up to date. The pool was temporarily out of service, but we could use the one next door. The rooms were a little small, but clean and comfortable. The rooms were also very reasonably priced. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus, but my husband wished there were biscuits and gravy like pictured on the website. The staff were all polite and helpful. It was nice staying at a smaller hotel without a lot of other guests, congestion, and noise. The grounds were kept very maintained. I would stay there again, especially when the pool is fixed.

Tyler provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. It went beyond what you expect from this category of hotel with simple gestures like how he spoke to us and how he responded when we needed something. The property and rooms were clean and accommodating.
