Comfort Suites Marietta-Parkersburg

Very nice hotel in Marietta, OH. Had a great breakfast and visited with the manager, Marge. Whole staff in this hotel is super nice. My room was clean and I was able to get a workout in the gym. Great experience and hope to comeback in the neat future!

Front desk staff is always very nice and price is good. Carpet has been upgraded and showers are upgraded over the last few years; however, the fitness center looks like it hadn’t been cleaned since I was there several months ago. The machines were filthy. There was no water cooler in the fitness center and a 15 lb dumbbell is missing. In our room, the thermostat/heating/cooling unit didn’t seem to keep the correct temperature and the light in the shower didn’t work. Food had been left in our fridge and not cleaned out from the previous guests.

Check in was easy, staff was pleasant, and I got the room I had requested. ||The room was decent sized and appeared to be clean.||the bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The sink was cracked which I mention because my "yardstick" is this. would I tolerate it in my home? nope. ||The bed was clean and comfortable. room lighting was good.||The room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker and a decent sized TV. There were enough outlets for charging items near the bed.||The AC worked well. ||Much to my disappointment both the pool and the hot tub were closed. That automatically loses a point when the website shows an amenity like that and it is not available. Shame. ||breakfast was fine. waffles, yogurt, eggs, etc.

While out on tour with the jokers and jester comedy tour, we always appreciate a swift and easy check-in. The room was very, very clean and well equipped with everything you could want. The location was great as well. Would recommend to any traveler.

This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in. It was me my husband and 2 boys. When we arrived we found out both the pool and hot tub was no to be used with no time of restoration. It was not posted on the website and the sign said no refunds or discounts. We stayed 4 days and still not fixed. The beds where horrible and not comfy at all. The rug was stained and disgusting. Soapd where out. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
