Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Gatlinburg Downtown

Positive: Location was off the beaten path, so no traffic, but still a somewhat easy walk to the main street of Gatlinburg. Rooms seemed clean. Fresh bag of towels every morning when we had the Do Not Disturb sign up. Negative: Breakfast was pitiful and worst I've seen. No attendant refilling, replenishing, or cleaning the area (that I saw). Food trays empty. No one to help if needed. Fresh fruit consisted of a couple of over ripe bananas. Food quality = poor

We loved our stay here! Our room was so nice and clean, and they kept us stocked with everything we needed. The entire staff was great. I also want to note that Jamar, at the front desk, was very kind. He spoke every time we walked by. His hospitality was awesome! The food was great too. Overall, it's a great place with great staff!

We stayed at the Fairfield in 2nights we booked 2 rooms 1 for us and 1 for the grandparents. We loved the location we stayed there because we was getting up early to hike and wanted something close and convenient. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay the rooms was clean we was even able to check into 1 room early the staff was great we forgot to take the tag off the door from the night before when we left that morning at 4am for our hike and when we got back they had left fresh towels and stuff by the door so we didn’t have to go ask I thought that was the sweetest because at that point my feet hurt from the hike and I was cranky ..lol The price was also great we paid 277 for 2 nights each room which was not bad for the location the beds was comfortable and the conditioner and shampoos

Our experience at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Gatlinburg Downtown was just okay—pretty average compared to other Fairfield locations I’ve stayed at. The overall stay didn’t really stand out, and it felt like a standard, no-frills visit. Unfortunately, the breakfast was the most disappointing part. The bacon looked almost transparent, was extremely greasy, and not very appetizing. The eggs appeared powdered and watery, and the overall quality didn’t meet the expectations I usually have for a Marriott property. The rooms were clean but very basic, with the standard layout and appearance you’d expect—nothing exceptional or memorable.
