Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dublin

The staff and cleaning crews are very friendly. I stayed there for a week. Breakfast is served from 6–9 a.m., and the items vary slightly each day. They don’t remove everything right at 9, so if you miss breakfast, you can still grab some boiled eggs, nuts, and coffee. Isn’t it great for night owls? There are a few things I disliked: • The room wasn’t completely clean — there was dust around the trim. • The AC unit makes a very loud noise all day and night. I could hardly sleep for the first two nights. • There was a slight moldy smell coming from the AC or possibly behind the bed — I’m not sure. The highlight for me was that they provided alcohol wipes. I really liked that — I could wipe down the tables and handles. It was the best part of my stay. I originally wanted to give 3 stars,

Positive: Nothing particular that I liked other than the staff was very professional and polite. Negative: Condition - wallpaper peeling off the wall. WiFi in the BR did not work, air conditioning system not working properly, toilet seat made for children only, not adults, the mattress was uncomfortable. I had to switch rooms because of the uncleanliness.

My stay at this Fairfield was disappointing from start to finish. The hotel had multiple false fire alarms, including one at two thirty seven in the morning and another the day before in the afternoon. When I first arrived, the water was also inoperable. None of these issues were communicated, and the overnight alarm completely disrupted my rest. Shanta, the assistant general manager, offered five thousand points for the inconvenience. While I appreciate the gesture, five thousand points is worth roughly thirty to forty dollars. That does not feel meaningful when the brand advertises a one hundred percent satisfaction guarantee. We love Dublin! We stayed here for one night on our 18 hour trip since we couldn’t make it to the end last minute. The staff was nice. My toddler left his stuffed animal and they notified me and kept it until we got back from Florida. The people made the stay great. However, the carpet in our room was unfortunately SUPER greasy. we felt sooo gross with our shoes off. The breakfast also wasn’t what we typically expect. We ended up going a couple hours down the road and staying at a much cheaper best western and enjoying our stay more.

PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION! I was initially given a hotel room of lower quality than I had reserved and paid for. I made the front office agent aware of this, and I was told that I would be switched to another room in the morning (which is today) as they were sold out last night. Upon entering the room, I noticed mold in the bathroom and a severe musty smell throughout. Due to dealing with the lack of customer service, I contacted Marriott Bonvoy Customer Service phone and shared my experience.
