Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Decatur at Decatur Conference Center

Very clean and well appointed. I had a ground floor room , the ceiling is around eleven foot high which made the room really spacious. Large modern bathroom with walk in glass shower. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Complimentary breakfast is a nice addition, the dining area is quite nice with the various sized tables to accommodate a small family or a large group without having to move tables to accommodate seating. Location is convenient to everything you could need.

Excellent facility. Clean, well maintained and an excellent customer service staff. Staff was very customer oriented. Genuinely customer oriented. Nice breakfast, typical selection something for each taste. Staff keeps the hotel in very good condition. You will enjoy your stay at this Fairfield.

We had a wonderful one night stay. Check in was quick and efficient thanks to the nice young lady at the front desk. Our Double Suite room was spacious with a separate sitting area that has a second TV. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The AC was great and kept our room perfect cooled all night. Great water pressure in the shower and clean towels were nice. Breakfast was ok, but not my favorite. There were several options, which was a plus. All in all- we had a great stay and will only stay at and recommend this hotel when needed. The hotel’s cleanliness was my #1 favorite thing.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am absolutely disgusted with how the management treats their clients at this location. And after further investigation I am finding that I am not the only one experiencing this. We booked through Priceline for a 4 night stay in a king suite with a pull out bed. It was my husband and I and our two children. You can't even begin to book with Priceline without stating how many people are staying and for how long. I double and triple checked dates and all that. When we arrived at this location I was shown to a room that had a king bed but not pull out bed. I talked with the front desk and they went ahead and upgraded us to the suite we DID originally book. And they told us it was no extra charge. We got there on a Saturday night and were scheduled to leave on

I would never recommend this location. Water pressure was horrible, no hot water and woke the first night with a bug crawling across my face. Sister n law stayed down the hall and her room was full of crickets. My kids picked up the room phone and called my cell phone and now they are charging us $40 for the call…I have never been charged to use a room phone.. What is this the 90’s?? They also double charged us for stay and it took them several days to even return our call to refund. Honestly the whole stay should have been free.
