Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Charlotte Belmont

This review is a shout out to Nic, the front desk attendant. I stayed at this hotel about 3 weeks ago. As soon as I stepped inside I was greeted by Nic in the most welcoming way. The whole check in experience with Nic was A++. Later on I went down to the front desk to inquire about local eateries and Nic offered many places. Every time I would pass by the front desk she was very friendly and nice. Nic is top notch, someone Marriott should hold on to, recognize and promote for her performance. Thank you Nic for making my stay so wonderful! Quick review on the hotel itself, very nice,clean, updated hotel A++ on the hotel. A+++ for Nic, she's wonderful☺️

Our NC/SC Links golf tournament was played recently at Cramer Mountain Country Club in Cramerton, NC. The Fairfield Inn Belmont graciously hosted our teams. I have been a Marriott Bonvoy member for years and have stayed at many destinations. There was something about this hotel that made a lasting impression and that was the genuine personal customer service we received. With our group loaded with equipment and luggage, they made check in and checkout seamless with the most friendly reception staff. The general manager, Michael Zubel, welcomed us very graciously. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean with a most responsive housekeeping staff. The breakfasts in the dining area were fabulous (great coffee!) with many choices to select. This was our second stay here the night before an early flight out of CLT. The room was nice. Lovely smelling shampoo, conditioner and soap. Breakfast was good, there were nice options. Our only issue is the air-conditioner in the room. It cycles on and off so it's either chilly while it's on and then once it stops it gets warm until it cycles back on. It's not a show stopper for us but annoying.

We had a really pleasant stay at Fairfield. As a family we appreciated the connecting rooms. The floor in the bathroom of room 130 had some dirt in the corner but other than this, couldn’t spot anything else. It didn’t distract from the rest of our stay.

Had an unfortunate stay here a couple months ago. The hotel is clean and new but a MASSIVE target for burglary. Myself and 3 others had their cars broken into. Front desk was nice, filled out some paperwork from their ownership and never heard from them again. Didn’t even comp me for the stay after getting the window smashed on my 1 WEEK old vehicle. Policy came and took a report, said don’t expect much. Thugs come out here from Charlotte all the time and hit the hotel. Unfortunate to find this out after the fact but go back and look at reviews on various platforms and you will see this has been an issue here since this place has opened.
