Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Bloomsburg

We made a last-minute stop here during a 12-hour road trip and it was well worth the price. The staff were all extremely friendly even though we showed up unannounced at about 1AM, and the building and room were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only “complaint” we had was that the shower in our room needed a bit of maintenance—the tub drained slowly and the shower head nozzle sprayed in multiple different directions. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but I let the front desk staff know as we checked out so that it could be addressed for future guests. I didn’t expect anything out of it, but we’re Marriott Bonvoy members and the staff very kindly gave us 2,000 rewards points as an apology for the shower. Very nice hotel. Large comfortable room that was also very clean. Good breakfast and coffee! All the employees were friendly. And it's conveniently close to route 80. There is also a pool and fitness room but I did not check them out.

Stayed at this property overnight on my way to see family in Pittsburgh. The stay was absolutely fine. But the main feature — for me — was the friendliness of the personnel.|Unfortunately, I haven’t remembered the names of the two front desk people (one on the night shift on Nov 1 and one on the morning shift of Nov 2). Thanks to both for being welcoming and helpful! I needed to cancel a stay because I had to use a different route for my return trip. They couldn’t do it on the spot — but didn’t forget to ask their manager to do this later, and I was informed by message that this was done. I know, this level of service has to be expected at good establishments. But in this day and age I do want to mention it.

The hotel was probably fully booked, but it was quiet anyway. Great breakfast that was always full, even with the amount of people eating. All employees were super friendly and made me felt welcomed. Even when they had to bring towels up to my room at 10 o clock at night, the person who brought them up was super happy and courteous. Overall it was very clean, and everything was top of the line. Pull out bed wasn't even too bad!

Best hotel I've stayed at and I've stayed at a Fairfield in nj (which was a 3)and 2 doubletree. Bed soft, large, the shower fir 2 adults although stand in only. But lot of room in the room and the bathrooms. The breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was always stocked! I had 4 cups!
