Fainting Goat Island Inn

My daughter and I had a great time. The owner is very friendly she told us a lot about the place. Are room was lovely and clean. I loved the comforter on the bed. The bathroom was neat ant clean. We also had a chance to feed the goats and visited the pigs also played with the dogs and the one kitty. We enjoyed our time there very much. Would recommend it to anyone who would like to get away for the weekend and just relax and enjoy.

My husband & I stayed at this lovely Inn this weekend. So much to do in the area, including the Corning Museum, which is a treat. Marnie & Bill are wonderful & their menagerie of animals are just adorable! (A special shout out to Gus~Gus, Daisy, & Larry, the cat.) Marnie‘s cinnamon buns are absolutely out of this world! For those of you that are into the paranormal, my husband did hear something.😮 I however, am a heavy sleeper!☺️💤 We will definitely be back!

Had a great time at fainting goat. Marnie and Bill were gracious hosts and fun to talk with. Rooms are period correctly furnished and comfortable. Lounge room is a great place to hang out and meet other travelers. We did not have any paranormal activity to report but i think our late night antics were interpreted as such by other guests. Only reason for 4 stars was the constant dog barking starting at 5 am. We're dog lovers but not at 5 am.

The first thing we noticed was how warm and welcoming Marnie is. She is so pleasant and makes you feel so welcome, we shared stories in the morning and I could just talk with her for hours. Such a wonderful person. Her partner Bill was also very warm and welcoming and they both did a dowsing rod demonstration with us and lent my fiance and I both a pair to use for the evening. The second thing was the beauty of the Inn. The furnishings and the restorations are stunning. The surrounding land is beautiful with an amazing river and island view and the added animals perfect it. We went into our stay with an open mind of if something happens cool if not thats cool too. We definitely had some odd occurrences but I wouldn't say it was anything off the charts. We didnt see any apparitions or hav

My second visit. I love this place! Gorgeously appointed rooms in a historic theme with goats of course! Marnie is a wonderful hostess. This visit was uneventful; the spirits couldn't be bothered with me.
