Extended Stay America Suites- Orange County - Huntington Beach

This was, without question, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I was in town on a business trip and stayed here for eight long days. From the moment I arrived, the room had an overwhelming odor that made it extremely unpleasant to be inside. The room itself was old, dingy, and visibly unclean. The condition of the room was alarming. The window showed visible damage (bullet holes), and the window locks were broken and did not secure properly. The shower appeared dirty, and overall cleanliness was clearly not a priority. I was booked in a “suite,” yet the couch was in such poor condition that I wouldn’t sit on it. When I raised concerns with the front desk, I was told these issues had existed for years and that maintenance might be able to look at the locks. I asked to change rooms befo

Ray, (GM) handle each guest with special care too accommodate their needs. Housekeeping |Kudos for cleaning and everything sparkle and shine. Cristina outstanding too making sure all request fullfil. Positive: We had three dogs, and the pet fee was very reasonable. Also, the pet area was clean and well stocked. My dogs and I were extremely happy with the accomodations. Negative: Remember to pick up shampoo at the counter before heading to the room

Stayed here while mold was being removed from the walls of my home just 1.5 miles away. I stayed for 10 days and it was absolutely sufficient. No frills, no bells and whistles, but a good deal for a clean room in a place with friendly front desk staff. Some things were a bit shabby (like the shrapnel curtain panels in my first room) but they accommodated my request to move to a better room and checked it out in advance for me. It's been fine for what I needed in this situation, though I wouldn't choose it for a vacation rental. The breakfast pastries were always the same and they were very dried out and old, but the self-service coffee bar was nice to have every morning.
