Extended Stay America Suites- Long Island - Melville

My stay at the Extended Stay in Melville, NY was very disappointing. The front desk staff manager ( BLACK MAN) I dealt with was rude and unprofessional. When I asked for an additional key card, he insisted on giving only one per ID in a way that felt spiteful and petty rather than helpful. On top of that, I unfortunately noticed ROACHES in the room, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. Overall, the customer service and cleanliness were far below what I expected. I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE EVER AGAIN or ADVISE ANYBODY TO DO IT

Beware of this Extended Stay Suites, Melville, NY. Don’t give reviews often on Google, but this place royally sucked, checked out a day early. Absolute garbage. 1. Floors were sticky, previous spills and not cleaned? Who knows? 2. Ventilation fan in bathroom was very loud and rattling 3. Staff did not clean rooms 4. Staff did not give new sheets, or make beds 5. Staff did not give new bathing towels - you must request towels and swap yours out 6. The shower/tub backed up several times No positives. And to charge $1k or more because of the Ryder Cup, is a crime, let alone $100-$200 per your normal rate. This is a $50/night dive at best, if your car broke down outside the hotel - MAYBE. Please - avoid!! This place is a dumpster fire. **To the establishment, please, don’t post a bullshit

stayed there and left after 30 mins room had a poop stain on it outside of hotel on ground by lobby there was human waste on ground. Staff at hotel couldn't even get the person at desk. Was standing there for almost 20 waiting and after a while went back to my room. Just a horrible hotel. Stayed in this hotel years ago with my dad and dog was soo much better. Terrible experience. Rooms mediocre. Rest of building terrible. Cigarette smell reported but not fixed to an indifferent, undertrained, under skilled staff. Hallways have a permanent stinking smell. Zero service. Way many more options in Long Island to choose from. Checked out earlier than expected and got additional charges for this, staff unable or unwilling to help, referred to hotline, unable or unwilling to help either.
