Extended Stay America Suites- Chicago - Elgin - West Dundee

While the facility is a little tired, the staff more than makes up for it!! They go out of their way to make things right and help in any way possible. The night guy in particular, Michael, is as responsive and helpful as anybody here!! He will literally jump if you need something. He even delivered an Amazon pkg right to my door after recognizing my name on it! The entire staff is phenomenal, from the front desk, to the maintenance team, to the cleaning crew. Thanks for making our stay a very comfortable one!!

Positive: The parking is close to the doors Negative: This hotel is best for crews that come into town who stay a week and then go home on the weekends. By the second night our pajamas smelt like body order from the bed sheets and pillows. As soon as we walked into the bathroom the door handle feel off.

This is my 3rd review. Reason being, I've just settled into my new hotel minus alot of things that I brought to THIS!! Extended Stay Hotel. Like my heated vest, my hair enhancement hat, face massager, etc. It was stilen by housekeeping. Cynthia, the manager said, on Monday night, midway through my already paid reservation, house keeping would be there in Wednesday. I feel like she noticed when I've left on Tuesday because they came into my room, rearranged everything on Tuesday!! When I only had 3 simple requests, in a kitchenette, I have only asked for my bed to be made, my floors to be vacuumed and for towels. They went through every bag in my room. We had a great experience at the extended stay in Dundee. Several great restaurants within walking distance. During our stay our fridge stopped working and upon calling the front desk, Michael answered the phone and he was extremely friendly and very quick to have maintenance replace our fridge. He was a continued friendly face during our stay and always quick to help with anything we needed! The Hotel was always being cleaned by the friendly staff. We also enjoyed the apartment style rooms!

First thing when we got to this location my son tried using the hair dryer, and roaches fell out of it, and got fried inside the hair dryer. Roaches were everywhere during this stay, but since it was the only place we had to be for the time I did that job, we stayed. Just like my last extended stay I cleaned up, nothing was broken by us and I still didn't get my deposit back. Probably won't even use it to fix their hotel.
