Extended Stay America Select Suites- Odessa

Positive: Staff was friendly and helpful Negative: I believe the Hotel is currently being updated and the current amminities are minimal. No comfortable chairs, no blowdrier, no coffie maker.

Upon entering the room that was crumbs on the floor. The TV did not work in my room. They offered to come up and fix but it was late and I didn't want anyone in my room at that time. It should have been working before anyone checked in. They advertised "to go breakfast and coffee" on my reservation, when I went down to breakfast. They did not have it. The clerk informed me, you can cook in your room because you have a kitchenette.

Cancelled our room at 7p, 30 minutes before arriving for a conference from California. Left with no other options. Cited reason for cancellation was overbooking. Do not ever stay here.

The rooms are super big and the bed was comfy enough. However, housekeeping only cleaned my room one day out of the 7 I stayed there. They never took my trash not once. Didn't make the bed, but once. The TV would not turn off and the remote wouldn't adjust the volume on the TV. Over all it was a good stay, but the not cleaning was kind of an issue for me.

Beware beware manager walked into my husband's room with no knock or anything and closed the door behind him. When reported was told the manager can inspect whenever he wants! Just beware you could be do doing something that you don't want others to see in a motel. Don't like what was going on around us also!
