Extended Stay America Select Suites- Milwaukee - Waukesha

I stayed here 2 years ago and had a completely different experience. The hotel then was clean, had toiletries, had dishes, utensils and cookware included in the price. Now you have to pay for towels, if you want one before the weekly cleaning. They charge a $1.75 for a bath towel and yes you read right they clean weekly. You have trash? take it out yourself. We were provided with a hotel size bar of soap. That was the extent of our "toiletries" The hallways were filthy as were the elevators, the rooms were ok clean wise, but to only clean once a week? I get this is not a 5 star hotel and it is cheap. But as the saying goes you get what you pay for. If I have to be displaced from my home any longer I will be moving into another hotel

Stayed for 3 weeks or 20 days during The Early February 2026 winter storms. Here's My experience overall Pros: -The hallways,lobby and laundry & room we're clean. -Restaurants, grocery store are around the area -Love The cooling and heat system -Room felt like a whole house. -Quit & staff is available 24 hours if you need help with your room card The coffee picture y'all got posted up on the Google search and maybe some of the other pictures are very deceptive. And does not reflect real life. Please take it down. Cons: -The vending machines is high rate robbery. -The room key cards occasionally never works. -No welcome comfort-items only one bar soap -out of date & banged up room appliances include phone & TV

Positive: Location Negative: They don't participate in the amenities that is listed no dishes in room and no coffee or anything to snack on in the mornings dishes are an up charge not standard

We were in Waukesha to attend a wedding. We could not extend our stay at the original hotel, we had to move. Our stay Saturday night, October 11 checkout on Sunday, October 12 the rate was not the “cheap” one they advertised. Perhaps because of the Brewers game? This place is bare bones. Lots of crack heads and drunks were there the night we stayed. One dude from Chicago was there, passed out on the bench by the parking lot, drunk as a skunk. We went inside and the staff was nice, they cannot help who stays here, so I don’t fault them at all. They don’t control what kind of clientele stays here. Got near the room and another drunk was pounding on a door down the hall. Dogs barking and kids screaming in a room across the hall. In spite of the “no guns” sign on the door, I went an

A staff member named Bri was very helpful with getting TV to work and getting us a chair. The room leaves a lot to be desired. The refrigerator leaks all the time. The bottom of refrigerator is full of water. I'm continually soaking up water with my own towels. The stove DOES NOT work. So I wasn't able to cook for us. I used more than a couple dozen wipes to clean refried, microwave, counters, bathroom vanity, cupboards. Those wipes were very dirty. There's also broken glass in parking lot. And cigarette butts all over the property grounds.
