Comfort Inn Waukesha - Milwaukee West

Just in for an overnight stay on a business trip and was satisfied with the facility. Breakfast is simple but good, cereal, eggs, 2 kinds of pork (which I don't personally eat) and mini waffles were the main offerings. Breakfast lady was very nice. Rooms are dated, lots of dark brown and tan but clean and comfortable. The lights were clean and bright, not dingy and muted which was a big plus. Check in went smoothly. I would stay here again, it's got a lot right a round it to offer a traveler.

The hotel itself was beautiful, with excellent facilities and a prime location. My only disappointment came when I needed to check out a day early. Although I had booked Thursday through Monday, I was leaving Sunday morning and asked at the front desk Saturday night if there would be any adjustment to my bill. All the individual would say was I was going to be charged the full amount. They said tonight‘s stay is $300 and they wouldn’t adjust the bill. Which left me confused as I wanted to check out first thing Sunday morning, rather than staying until Monday. I asked a few different ways and basically they were very dismissive. Unfortunately, I was not given a clear explanation of the early checkout policy and was simply told I would still be charged for the full stay. This left me pay

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. All Fitness Center, including tv, were functional. That’s a rarity today. And the buffet breakfast had ample hot/cold selections to please those wanting breakfast. We’ll be back.

This was a decent place to stay. It was in a nice area with plenty of dining options close by. Only one issue- do some quality control on your house keeping. I found a few stray hairs that were not ours. The breakfast was decent enough for the price point. I've stayed in much worse places for considerably larger amounts of money paid. This place was close to our venue which was nice. I would stay here again if the need arose.

Bed and pillows were comfortable and AC worked. Everything else was a negative. Bathroom was designed in a way where you couldn't open the door if someone was on the toilet. I thought he door handles stick occasionally when entering rooms, but it turns out the door handle was installed upside down so it would only open consistently if you twist the handle up instead of down. Other items installed looked to be installed by high schoolers going thru tech ed. Be from Toilets in the rooms to the towel rack on the wall above them. The railing in the hallways.
